Rolling Out the Red Carpet for our Veterans, Service Members, and their Families
On November 7 at David Geffen Hall at the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, Stand Up for Heroes returned for its 16th year. Over 1,700 patrons along with comedians and musicians Amber Iman, The Lumineers, Hasan Minhaj, Jeff Ross, Iliza Shlesinger, Bruce Springsteen, Jon Stewart came out to support our work to honor our nation’s veterans, service members, and their families. In addition to our announcement of our $1 million investment in military children’s mental health, we shared inspiring moments and stories of resilience while recognizing our service members and veterans.
Our gratitude and sincerest thanks to Caroline Hirsch, Andrew Fox and NY Comedy Festival who have been with us for every Stand Up for Heroes since 2007. It is with their invaluable support that in 2022 we raised over $4.5 million to ensure that our nation’s veterans, service members and their families — those who stood for us — have stable and successful futures.
