Helping Veterans Grow Their Families
We’re committed to ensuring our veterans receive the support and services they deserve. For some, this involves achieving the dream of a family after a service-related illness or injury.
Through our Veterans In Vitro InitiAtive (VIVA), we give veterans struggling with infertility the support and resources they need to start or grow their families. In partnership with VIVA,we provided over $270,000 in grant support to 59 veterans to expand their families in 2022. Of those, 50 veterans and their partners welcomed 23 babies— more than double the number in 2021.
With generous support from EMD Serono, we connected a growing number of veterans experiencing infertility with the resources they needed to start or expand their families. EMD Serono has been a pioneer in the fertility space for 25 years, helping couples at every step of their fertility journey. The organization was there for the first IVF baby and over five million babies since.
